2019 Children’s Day Report

Children’s Day was lit!

And we have released a complete report of what went down at the event in this link here.(Click to check it out)

In case you you didn’t receive our newsletter, you can find a summary of the report below. Have fun reading and hope you join us next year for a much more exciting event.

Hello our highly esteemed PYP family,

We would like to say a huge thank you for your kind support. You came through and with your generosity made the Powerful Young Project’s 5th Children’s Day celebration a massive success! We couldn’t have made this kind of impact without your support. Thank you so much.

This year we were able to:

Teach the Kids about Environmental Sustainability (Thank you Greenhill Recycling Team!)

Reward winners of the fun indoor and outdoor games with awesome prizes! (P.S. Thanks to Ngozi Ilondu for the book – The Chronic School Hater)

Package and distribute the coolest Edu-Care Packs to about a 100 kids

Organize uncountable games and fun activities for the kids

And have such an exciting and fun-filled time while making impact!

Every child that attended had so much fun while learning new things and adding some value to their community.

Your support means a lot to us and keeps us encouraged to keep making impact. Therefore we owe it to you to share how it went down.

We can’t wait to put to action the plans we have for next year as we intend to make it bigger and better. We sure hope you will be a part of it!
