Book Drive Project is a process that covers the gathering of new or gently used reading materials from donors down to the distribution to both primary and secondary schools students for free

The whole essence of a book drive project is  to create and strengthen easy accessibility to quality reading materials which will in turn help improve literacy level and vocabulary, spread knowledge, appreciate literacy skills and abilities in our society, also, this project is meant for recycling purpose and to also teach students on the act of giving, as they don’t have to throw away materials they don’t need or handle them roughly but to take care of them so they can give it out to those in need of them .

Powerful young project (PYP) in its own capacity and due to its passion for quality education wants to carry out this project and to this end we have come to seek for consent from the District to approve the use of the schools in Festac to be used as venues to carry out this project. We plan to target open day date for 2nd term which will come up on the 18th – 19th of February, 2020.
